  • We have 3 sets of 12 week training plans designed to cater for all levels of fitness. So whether you’re planning to walk, jog or run the 10k, you can choose the plan that it right for you. We’ll be posting weekly updates on each training plan on our socials, or you can check out and download the 12 week plans on this page. We recommend that you seek medical advice before you set out on your training adventure. Then all you need is a pair of running shoes and you’re good to go!

  • Whether you’re planning to walk, jog or run the 10k, there are some handy resources that you can check out wherever you are, with details of walking, jogging and running events taking place in Ireland.

    Runireland.com (hyperlink to www.runireland.com) and Athleticsireland.ie (hyperlink to www.athleticsireland.ie) feature details of events happening all over the country. There are also hundreds of local events that you can join in to help you with your training for the big day.

    Plan your meals and do a weekly shop based on the ingredients you’ll need for the weekly plan

    Prepare your meals in advance and you’ll have less to think about!

    Chop vegetables for the next day

    Cook some extra dishes at the weekend and freeze them!
