Meet the first of our amazing County Champions: Maeve from Glandore! Maeve will be representing Cork at this year's Vhi Women's Mini Marathon! 💪🏃♀️🇮🇪
"I’m turning 40 this year and have promised myself to push myself outside my comfort zones and try new experiences and to tackle myself with these. 2022 was a year I was gladly willing to put behind me due to a number of personal reasons and I woke up in 2023 saying to myself to try all sorts of experiences and to push myself outside my comfort zone.
Watching individuals take part in running events just makes me in awe of them - all different ages, shapes, and sizes and the commitment they give to their fitness and training is something I need to work on, and nothing better than the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon for this."
