Charity Spotlight: Beaumont Hospital Foundation

Who they are:

Beaumont Hospital Foundation (BHF) works hard to promote the significant medical contribution that Beaumont Hospital makes to the community and to thousands of patients from all over Ireland who access the hospital's many unique medical specialties.

BHF supporters can direct their fundraising to benefit any area of the hospital of their choice. This allows funds to be spread across the hospital and facilitates former patients and families in giving back to the area of the hospital where they, or a loved one, was treated.

Established in 1995, Beaumont Hospital Foundation is a registered charity.

Why they started:

Beaumont Hospital Foundation was established to support and encourage the generation of funding for innovative health and medical advances, which improves the lives of Beaumont Hospital's patients, their families, and staff. They seek, invest and manage supporter donations responsibly to realise this vision.

What they do:

The goal of Beaumont Hospital Foundation is to inspire and support patients and their families, along with members of the wider community, to make donations or fundraise in support of vital equipment and services which improve the treatment and care which Beaumont Hospital staff provides.

Plans for Women’s Mini Marathon:

Join #TeamBeaumont for this year’s Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon and help raise vital funds for Beaumont Hospital. Run, jog or walk with Team Beaumont, whether this is for yourself or to honour a loved one who attended the hospital.

There will be a reserved area in a prime location in the city centre to meet fellow participants and enjoy a fun ladies’ day out, all while supporting the amazing work that happens in Beaumont Hospital every single day.
